Year 1 Awards

 

  

We have had another great week and there has been so much to celebrate in Year 1! 

These children have worked extremely hard and have been rewarded for all of their hard work and efforts.

E for Excellence


Walnut: Ksenija

Ksenija has worked very hard to measure the mass of different objects  accurately. Well done Ksenija!



Apricot: Thomas 

Thomas has been making great choices in and around the classroom. Thomas has also been completing his math jobs and challenges independently. Brilliant!



Beech: Oscar

Oscar, you have worked incredibly hard in your reading sessions and have moved up two groups. You always work to the best of your ability and you are a fantastic role model in Beech class.


 

 

 

  Star Writers 

 

Walnut:Aadya

Aadya  has worked very hard to produce a fantastic recount of The Snail and the Whale. She used lots of interesting vocabulary too. Great effort!

 


Apricot: Mya 

Mya has been working really hard on her handwriting. She has completed very detailed writing in literacy using adjectives.  

 

 


 

Beech: Blake

Blake, for your fantastic work during Geography and completing your mark-making task independently.

These are the key skills that our children will need to learn effectively in class and to be successful later in life.

These pupils have planned carefully, revised ideas, identified key features and can talk about their learning.

Aniah- Mai has used available resources  to create a beautiful piece of artwork. Well done Aniah-Mai.

 

I Made My Teacher Happy Award  

Toni and Haileigh

They have worked very hard to learn their 2,5 and 10 times tables. Well done

 

 


Ayana 

Ayana has been working hard in all her lessons. She has also been volunteering to do jobs around the classroom.

Maalik has been working really hard on his times tables and enjoyed joining in with our counting songs.
