Perfect Pancakes in Year 1!
The children in Apricot Class were introduced to our measuring topic in Maths with a pancake recipe. They were able to measure out the ingredients using non-standard units and showed great reciprocity skills in working together to mix up the ingredients.
Pouring, whisking and mixing were all on the agenda as the children made their own pancakes. There were even some fabulous flips! The children then chose some delicious toppings before devouring them!

Year 2 Sculpture Workshop
Year 2 Sculpture Workshop
The children had an amazing day, with each class spending an hour with Darcy to make the rods and attach them together to create a stunning sculpture of a boat, which enhanced our Christopher Columbus topic.
The children have since been using their imaginations to go on amazing voyages in their new paper boat, which is situated in the Year 2 outdoor area.
Chloe - We are going to make a big boat like Christopher Columbus.
Tele - You can make the paper really hard so that you can make things.
