Perfect Pancakes in Year 1!
The children in Apricot Class were introduced to our measuring topic in Maths with a pancake recipe. They were able to measure out the ingredients using non-standard units and showed great reciprocity skills in working together to mix up the ingredients.
Pouring, whisking and mixing were all on the agenda as the children made their own pancakes. There were even some fabulous flips! The children then chose some delicious toppings before devouring them!
