Mulberry visit the farm!

Mulberry were lucky enough to visit the farm when it came to school on Monday. We met Dingle the Shetland pony who was 30 years old! We thought he was looking very good for his age. Fallon Sharpe said that Dingle must be a mammal because he was covered in fur. Jaydon Holloway made great use of his knowledge about birds when discussing ducks and turkeys, commenting that they must be birds because only birds have feathers. During our discussion after the visit Ronnie Mersh said that he had seen another mammal - the farmer!

KS1 Science day.

A variety of children in key stage one thoroughly enjoyed their day with David and Carole. They participated in many scientific enquiries that focused on light and reflection, including making their own periscopes! 

Ramone said "I really enjoyed myself, that's why I want to be a Scientist when I'm older". 

Paige and Mya said their favourite part was drawing portraits of themselves using the mirrors. 

Archy and Kabey loved making a periscope so they could spy on people!
