Year 1 Awards

 

  

We have had another great week and there has been so much to celebrate in Year 1! 

These children have worked extremely hard and have been rewarded for all of their hard work and efforts.

E for Excellence


Walnut: Andreea

Andreea worked very hard to complete her maths work independently and accurately. Well done Andreea!



Apricot: Maya- Aisha 

Maya has been working independently in Literacy. Maya has produced some great writing using the correct grammar, proof reading her work and lovely handwriting. Keep it up!











Beech:







Sofia, in recognition of your hard work and always giving 100% to every task you complete. You have been working extremely hard in all areas of the curriculum. Excellent Work Sofia!

Walnut: Emmalee

Emmalee tried very hard to independently use her sounds to complete her Topic work. Great effort!

 

Apricot: Henry 

Henry has tried so hard with his handwriting. He has been double checking his letter formation and fingers spaces! Brilliant!

Ellie-Mai, you have been working incredibly hard on your letter formation and writing CVC words. Well done Ellie-Mai.

 

 

Learning Power Awards

These are the key skills that our children will need to learn effectively in class and to be successful later in life. 

 

Reciprocity

These children have shown interdependence, collaborated effectively, listened to others, displayed empathy and have imitated effective  ideas and methods from others.

These pupils have planned carefully, revised ideas, identified key features and can talk about their learning.

Amaira, you were able to discuss and reflect on your class times table work and identify mistakes which you then changed. Fantastic work Amaira!

 

Resilience

Tyler earned the resilience award for working very hard to complete all the maths work he missed when he was poorly. Super effort!

These children have demonstrated perseverance, managed distractions, noticed patterns and been absorbed in their tasks.
