Today at forest school we were thinking all about music. We experimented as an orchestra using instruments that we played by shaking, scraping and tapping. It was important to watch the conductor carefully to know when to play and when to stop. Then we made our own woodland sounds and instruments. Children made instruments by tapping and scraping rocks and sticks. Some shook leaves. Others tapped acorns together and others used a bunch of acorns cups with a stick as a set of mini drums. The children also took turns to be the conductor. Well done everyone.
