Pine class had a lovely time this morning exploring with water at forest school. We found natural items that float and sink. We learnt about tying knots and used these knots to make rafts and boats. Some children added sails to see if this helped with the floating of the boats. There was fun with spray bottles making pictures from natural items. At the end of the session we worked as a whole class to transport water along the drainpipes and into the bucket. We learnt that the drainpipes needed to balance on top of each other at the join so that we didn’t lose any water. A busy morning, well done everyone.
