Jeremy Strong

We were very lucky to have a visit from the author Jeremy Strong on Tuesday 26th March. He spoke to all of the children at school, beginning with EYFS and KS1.

He told us about some of his books and explained how he does his writing in a shed at the bottom of his garden. Did you know that he only writes in black ink? It was interesting to hear how he got his ideas and how his pet cat Jeeves helps to look after his paper.

He also read a chapter from his book Giant Jim and the Hurricane. It was very funny!

When we had finished listening to Mr Strong we were able to buy one of his books which he then signed. We now have nearly a complete signed set in our school library.
The KS2 book club also interviewed him!

To find out more about this exciting day then please visit the school library blog where you can also listen to Jeremy Strong read a story.
