Beech Class - Forest School Tuesday 16th April 2024
The Year 1 children are now receiving their second block of Forest School sessions. The next class to participate in Forest School will be Beech Class. These sessions will take place on Tuesday mornings. Their first session will be on Tuesday 16th April.
When participating in these sessions (whatever the weather), the children are required to wear tracksuit/jogging trousers and welly boots (with their school polo shirt and jumper). These should be left in school to change into each week. In wet/cold weather, the children will also need to bring a warm coat, a hat and gloves to wear. The school will provide them with waterproofs to wear over the top of their clothing in extreme wet and cold weather. Forest School sessions take place whatever the weather, so it is important the children are properly dressed, so that they can participate in and enjoy each session fully.
In preparation for their first session, please send into school for your child a pair of tracksuit/jogging trousers and a pair of welly boots, in a named carrier bag.
Many thanks for your continued support. We hope your children are looking forward to having the opportunity to participate in Forest School again, this time in a different season of the year to their first block of sessions.

Beech Class - Forest School 14.11.2023
This half term Beech Class will be participating in Forest School sessions. These sessions will take place on Tuesday mornings. The first session will be on Tuesday 14th November. These sessions are led by Miss Float (Jill Jungle Owl) and Alison Shorter (Alison Ant). Your child will bring home a leaflet that explains what Forest School is all about.

Apricot Class - Forest School
Apricot class was very excited to experience the fire at Forest School this morning. We made sure the flames died down and we cooked over the embers to keep us safe in the wind today. We drank hot chocolate and sang around the fire. We toasted s’mores and then made our very own woodland warrior wristband. The children did really well at taking turns and waiting today and they all helped to put out the fire.

Tesha, completed a fantastic letter from the Queen asking for the Egg Box Dragons help. Tesha was able to correctly implement conjunctions and adjectives. Brilliant work Tesha!
