Cherry Class Cycle Awareness Day

Cherry class were taught many valuable lessons yesterday on their cycle awareness afternoon.

The children rode their bikes and scooters around a variety of obstacles ensuring they could maintain control and use their breaks appropriately.

In addition, they were taught about the importance of high visibility clothing when riding and vitally, how to fit helmets correctly.

Key Stage One enjoy a Road Safety Show!

Years One and Two learnt the rules of the road on a magical adventure through role play this afternoon. Children enjoyed joining in with the songs and question time, proving they knew more than the stories main character about how to stay safe!
