Remembrance Day
Today was Remembrance day. Remembrance Day is held on the 11th of November - the 11th day of the 11th month of the year. A two minute silence is always held at 11am to remember the millions who have died at war. Today we learnt about Remembrance Day, painted poppies and took part in a two minute silence as a whole year group.
'They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old:
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning
We will remember them'.
