Year 1 Awards

 

 

These children have worked extremely hard and have been rewarded for all of their hard work and efforts.

E for Excellence

Apricot: Victoria 

Victoria has joined  Apricot class with lots of confidence. Victoria has also been working hard in subjects giving 100% effort. 










Beech: Harry

Harry, in recognition of his hard work and always giving 100% effort. You have been working extremely hard during our lessons and self-led learning times too. Well Done Harry.



Walnut: Roza

You have earned this award for your commendable effort in using the part-whole model to  solve subtraction problems. Well done!



  Star Writers 

Apricot:Edie 

Edie has been completing great writing about Pattan’s pumpkin, using adjectives to describe the pumpkin and the setting where Pattan lives. Edie’s handwriting is today and uses correct letter formation. 

 

Beech: Adejuwon

Adejuwon, for writing descriptive sentences about the setting in our class story, Pattan’s Pumpkin .




 

Walnut: Bentley

Bentley has earned this award for independently thinking of and writing  a set of class rules modelled after the 10 commandments. Super job!

Learning Power Awards

These are the key skills that our children will need to learn effectively in class and to be successful later in life.

These children have shown interdependence, collaborated effectively, listened to others, displayed empathy and have imitated effective  ideas and methods from others.
