Year 2 Certificates- 4/11/22


What a fantastic week we have had in Year 2! All the children have returned to school with a positive attitude, dedication and enthusiasm. However, many children have shown extra hard work throughout the week.

The E for Excellence awards go to:

Aariz, For being a superstar this week. You have shown great dedication in all subjects and have proven to be a helpful partner. I am very proud of you. Well done!

Torsten, For using the continuous provision to develop your ideas and make an accurate recreation of London Bridge using the construction blocks. Fantastic work Torsten!  ​

Ivan, your fantastic topic work about the Great Fire of London. You were concentrating very hard! Well done. 

The Star Writer awards go to:

Callissya, you have worked very hard to think of elaborated descriptions when describing images of the Great Fire of London. You have used your imagination and the 5 senses to assist your description. Well done!

Batool, while learning about the great fire of London you were able to use your imagination to describe what you could see, smell, taste and touch. You were also able to level up your sentence by using exciting adjectives. Great job Batool!

Nashwan, for your fantastic sentences about the Great Fire of London. You were able to uplevel your sentences to make them more descriptive. Well done!

We have also awarded children for their efforts in their learning, their pupil jobs and reaching the high expectations set in Broadford Primary school. 


The reciprocity award this week goes to: Teddy, Tyler, Sofia, Elliot-Ellis


These children have shown interdependence, collaborated effectively, listened to others, displayed empathy and have imitated effective ideas and methods from others. 




The resilience award this week goes to: Thomas, Emmalee, Alana


These pupils have demonstrated perseverance, managed distractions, noticed patterns and been absorbed in their task.



Congratulations to the children who have moved up on their trackers!
