Literacy
This week, the children wrote an
alternative ending to Jack and the
Baked Beanstalk story using their detailed plans.
In their writing they focused on using wide
a range of suffixes. Well done.
Maths: Fractions
This week the children have been working
hard to recognise and find
quarters. This unit comes to an end as
next week will be adventuring into time.
Science
This week, the children learnt about the
life cycle of humans in science. They learnt
about key different developmental stages
like babyhood, childhood, teenager and
adulthood. Moreover, they accurately identified
important features features of the different
stages. Well done Year 2.
