This week in literacy we have started our new focus book, '10 things I can do to help my world'. The children enjoyed learning about ways to keep our planet clean, tidy and presentable. The children were tasked with writing a leaflet to guide others on how to help the world.
In math this week we were exploring arrays! These are arrangements of objects, numbers or symbols that are placed into rows and columns. We learnt how to count using arrays and what a column and row looked like. The children found this a little tricky but tried super hard!
In Design and Technology this term we are exploring healthy living! This week we learnt how to safely cut fruit and vegetables using the bridge method. We were then able to explore and taste different fruits and vegetables. The children really enjoyed this and some even tasted foods they thought they weren't going to like.
