Year 2 Certificates- 14.10.2022

 

What a fantastic week we have had in Year 2! All the children have returned to school with a positive attitude, dedication and enthusiasm. However, many children have shown extra hard work throughout the week.

The E for Excellence awards go to:

Athena, for being a fantastic role model this week. You have worked incredibly hard to maintain a high level of concentration and hard work during activities in class. You always try your best to produce work at a great standard. Well done!

Ryan,  for his positive contributions to our carpet time sessions. Ryan has confidently articulated and answered a range of questions this week. 

Maalik, for his positive attitude towards his independent learning. Maalik is able to confidently complete his independent tasks while also effectively using the provision to expand his learning.

We have also awarded children for their efforts in their learning, their pupil jobs and reaching the high expectations set in Broadford Primary school. 

Bruno, for working incredibly hard on your writing this week. You have tried very hard to ensure that sentences make sense, words are spelt correctly and you have been working hard on your letter formations. Well done!

Anya, you produced a wonderful letter to Egg box Dragon. You ensured that it had all the correct punctuation and was able to construct a coherent sentence.  Amazing!

Tesha, completed a fantastic letter from the Queen asking for the Egg Box Dragons help. Tesha was able to correctly implement conjunctions and adjectives. Brilliant work Tesha!

The reciprocity award this week goes to: Ava, Kayden and Scarlett


These children have shown interdependence, collaborated effectively, listened to others, displayed empathy and have imitated effective ideas and methods from others. 


The resourcefulness award this week goes to: Sultan, Ite and Lucas


These pupils have been curious about their learning, made links between ideas, shown imagination, reasoned methodically and capitalised on resources.
