Year 2 Certificates- 07.10.2022

 

What a fantastic week we have had in Year 2! All the children have returned to school with a positive attitude, dedication and enthusiasm. However, many children have shown extra hard work throughout the week.

The E for Excellence awards go to:

Lucas, for your fabulous creations with the blocks outside this week. The house you made for me was absolutely amazing. Great to see you making the most of outdoor learning.  Well done superstar!

Henry, for being a curious learner this week. Henry created a jumbo jet using the construction materials and was curious to find out how fast a jumbo jet travels. Good job Henry!

Adalind, it was lovely to see you consolidating your math skills in the outside provision.  You were able to show the place value on several numbers using the conkers.

We have also awarded children for their efforts in their learning, their pupil jobs and reaching the high expectations set in Broadford Primary school. 

Saim, for the instructions you wrote on how to make an Egg Box Dragon. You worked hard to write your sounds. We are proud of you!

Teddy, for showing great knowledge of Europe and Africa in Geography and for being able to write amazing facts about these two continents. Well done! 

Lucia,  you worked hard to write a set of instructions on how to make an Egg Box Dragon. You included adverbs of time and ensured you proofread your sentences ensuring that they made sense.

The reflectiveness award this week goes to: Isabella, Fire, Oluwatoni


These pupils have planned carefully, revised ideas, identified key features and can talk about their learning. 


The reciprocity award this week goes to: Kezia, Tesha, , Carter



These children have shown interdependence, collaborated effectively, listened to others, displayed empathy and have imitated effective ideas and methods from others. 




Finally, well done to the children below for achieving a tracker award. Keep up the good work!
