Year 1 Awards

E for Excellence

Apricot: Zara

Zara has been working hard in math this week. She has been ordering numbers and using the inequality symbols correctly. Well Done!




Beech:Sophia

Sophia, in recognition of you always working hard in the lessons and giving 100% to every task you complete. You are a fantastic role model to others. Excellent work Sophia

You have earned this award for your brilliant effort in accurately counting a set of objects and ordering them aright.

Well done Jacob! Jacob has worked extremely hard this week with both his letter formation and numbers. He has also been writing CVC words using his phonic knowledge to create a Diary entry. 

 

 

Beech:Onyeka

Onyeka, for your extremely hard work in the literacy and RWI sessions. You have been using your phonic knowledge to spell adventurous vocabulary. You used pronouns and the past tense correctly in your diary writing. Well done Onyeka!


 

Walnut: Gabia

Well done Gabia for independently writing  a diary entry from Beegu’s perspective. Also, you used conjunctions to link your ideas. Super effort!

Mavis, you have made your teacher happy because you have a wonderful sense of humour and always see the fun and joy in class. Your wonderful smile is infectious to all those around you!
