Year 2 Certificates- 21/10/2022

 

What a fantastic week we have had in Year 2! All the children have returned to school with a positive attitude, dedication and enthusiasm. However, many children have shown extra hard work throughout the week.

The E for Excellence awards go to:

Sofia, for consistently following silent signals and encouraging and supporting her peers to do the same. 

Riley, for trying his best this week. Riley tried very hard to complete all his tasks to the best of his ability but has also maintained a positive attitude towards his learning. Well done superstar!


Maiyaa, for her hard work in PSHE. Maiyaa was able to discuss and identify a range of  ways to show kindness and respect. Maiyaa also demonstrates these behaviours in school and is a kind and caring member of Pine class.

We have also awarded children for their efforts in their learning, their pupil jobs and reaching the high expectations set in Broadford Primary school. 

Nikita: This week Nikita was able to rewrite sentences to include conjunctions. Nikita was able to independently recognise when different types of conjunctions should be used. 

Ava, for writing an imaginative story during her choosing time. I am very impressed to see your wonderful, creative thoughts coming out in your writing. 

Cruz,  for writing a wonderful recount of his Forest school sessions. He was able to list the activities he enjoyed most. What a wonderful time he has had!

The reciprocity award this week goes to: Kezia, Elliot-Ellis, Bruno and James


These children have shown interdependence, collaborated effectively, listened to others, displayed empathy and have imitated effective ideas and methods from others. 


The reflectiveness award this week goes to: Olivia


These pupils have planned carefully, revised ideas, identified key features and can talk about their learning. 


The resilience award this week goes to: Nashwan, Sultan and Andreea

These pupils have demonstrated perseverance, managed distractions, noticed patterns and been absorbed in their task.
