Welcome to our new time keepers!
The children of Year One have had a very special delivery this week. 12 brand new wrist watches! Each week, 12 children across Pine and Mulberry will be selected to become 'time keepers'! Their job will be to tell an adult when it reaches o'clock and half past the hour.
By the end of Year One, the majority of children will be able to tell time to the hour and half past the hour. By wearing a watch, it gives their learning a 'real life' context.
If your child wishes to wear their own watch to school, please encourage them to do so.
