Year One West Ham Visit

The children in Year One were very excited this morning as West Ham came in to take over! The children had their supporting kits on and were excited for the challenges which lay ahead. Their first task was to complete a series of activities involving ball skills, dribbling, co-ordination, accuracy and precision. The class were coached by experts at West Ham as well as our own in house superstars!

Next, the children completed a Literacy workshop about sentence structure and watched a short football clip of their favourite team in action!

"I won the game we were playing - it was really exciting" Klaidi

"We were looking at how to jump really high by the WH coach!" Jolene

"We learned dribbling skills" Moyin

"We had to unjumble the sentence. I knew the full stop part came at the end and the capital letter is always needed at the start" Harry
