Year 2 Certificates- 23.09.2022

 

What a fantastic week we have had in Year 2! All the children have returned to school with a positive attitude, dedication and enthusiasm. However, many children have shown extra hard work throughout the week. 

The E for Excellence awards go to:

Alana- for your dedication to your work every single day. You come into school with a smile on your face and always show great resilience. Proud of your start to the year!


Himanshi- for being a fantastic role model in class. You are always reminding your peers to use kind language and you are always working hard. Well done!


Aryann - for being such an amazing role model. You show such kindness to your peers and the classroom adults. You go out of your way to help your peers, showing empathy and kindness in everything that you do. These are such lovely qualities to possess.

The Star Writer awards go to:

Rio, for your fantastic writing in literacy, you have used great adverbs of time and bossy verbs! Well done!


Henry- for your fantastic participation in Literacy this week. You have written clear instructions on how to make a jam sandwich using imperative verbs. Well done. 


Aniah-Mai  for your fantastic piece of writing this week in Literacy. You wrote a super set of instructions which included adverbs of time and imperative verbs. You superstar!



We have also awarded children for their efforts in their learning, their pupil jobs and reaching the high expectations set in Broadford Primary school. 

The resilience award this week goes to: Anna, Pippa, Jasmine


These children have demonstrated perseverance, managed distractions, noticed patterns and been absorbed in their tasks. 


The resourcefulness award this week goes to: Harry, Adyaan, Cruz


These pupils have been curious about their learning, made links between ideas, shown imagination, reasoned methodically and capitalised on resources. 



Lastly, well done to Nikita for achieving the Super Spellers award and well done to Elliot-Ellis for achieving the Sporting Excellence award. 



A huge well done Yr 2!
