Year 1 Awards

 

 These children have worked extremely hard and have been rewarded for all of their hard work and efforts.


E for Excellence

Apricot: Noah

Noah has been contributing brilliantly on the carpet. He has been sharing his ideas and answers clearly with his talk partner and the class. Keep it up!









Beech: Ameera

Ameera, in recognition of your super positive attitude to your work. You always try your best with every task and help others when they need it. You are a fantastic role model in Beech class. Excellent work Ameera!


Walnut: Fatima

Fatima, you have earned this award for your commendable effort in independently counting objects from a large group accurately. Well done!


  Star Writers 

Apricot: Ronnie

Ronnie has been working hard to use his sounds when writing unfamiliar words. He has also been concentrating on his letter formation during handwriting lessons. Amazing!

 

 

Beech: Harry

Harry, you worked incredibly hard using your phonic knowledge to write your sentence,  describing how the character in the story was feeling. Well done Harry! 


Walnut: Bernice

Well done Bernice for your excellent effort in using your phonics knowledge to describe how the character in your story was feeling  and for attempting to spell tricky words brilliantly.
