Year 2 Certificates

 

What a fantastic week we have had in Year 2! All the children have returned to school with a positive attitude, dedication and enthusiasm. However, many children have shown extra hard work throughout the 2 weeks.

Milan, for settling in so well in Rowan class. We are so happy to have you at Broadford! Fantastic work.


Ava, for having a very positive week in Year 2. You have shown hardwork and dedication towards your learning but you have always remembered to smile and have fun. Well done!


Adam H, for being such a fantastic role model to Pine Class. You have been super kind and helpful to your peers and ensure that you followed the class rules. What a super start!

Yeva, for your fantastic efforts in writing. You were sounding out words and speaking confidently. 


Samuel, for settling very well into year 2. You have been a wonderful helper this week while tidying up the classroom and you have started to follow Year 2 routines well. Well done!


George -  for your fantastic contributions during our carpet time sessions. You have worked well with your talk partner and been confident to share your thoughts and ideas with the rest of the children. What a superstar!

Robyn, for your fantastic writing about Egg Box Dragon! You were able to independently sound out your words in order to write them. Well done!


Kezia, for using amazing adjectives in your sentences when describing ‘The Egg Box Dragon’. Well done!


Hussain, You produced a fantastic character description using some super adjectives. You took pride in your handwriting and presented your work well.

Elliot-Ellis, for writing a fantastic paragraph when describing the physical appearance and personality of the egg box dragon. One of his sentences was, ‘He is very cheeky and sneaky.’ 

What a super star!


Aadya - You produced a wonderful paragraph using some fantastic adjectives to describe the Egg Box Dragon’s appearance and personality. It was lovely to see you take time with your handwriting and pride in your work. Keep up the great work!




We have also awarded children for their efforts in their learning, their pupil jobs and reaching the high expectations set in Broadford Primary school.

The resilience award this week goes to: Zariyah, Qhaleed and Anya

These children have demonstrated perseverance, managed distractions, noticed patterns and been absorbed in their tasks. 


The reciprocity award this week goes to: Amari, Himanshi and Adalind.


These children have shown interdependence, collaborated effectively, listened to others, displayed empathy and have imitated effective ideas and methods from others.

These pupils have planned carefully, revised ideas, identified key features and can talk about their learning.
