Literacy
This week the children read
Jack and the Baked Beanstalk.
Pupils have used conjunctions to link ideas
as well as using adjectives to describe and write
about Jack.
Maths: Fractions
This term the children will be exploring fractions.
We will be looking at both unit and non-unit fractions.
Throughout the term the children will be able to
identify and create their own fractions.
History
This week the children learnt about the
Effect of the Industrial Revolution.
They discussed how changes in transportation
and introduction of machinery resulted
in more jobs, overcrowding and the
availability of goods and cheap labour.
