E for Excellence

Apricot: Natalia Elena 

Natalia has been working hard in Maths. Natalia has been trying super hard and it has shown by all the great work she has completed this week. 


Beech: Zhyan has been working hard in Maths. Zhyan counted accurately by making groups of ten. Well done Zhyan! 


Walnut: Matthew

For showing kindness and respect to his peers and teachers. Matthew has been trying his best to complete his work more quickly and with more precision, which has made his teachers very happy! Well done Matthew.



  Star Writers 

Apricot: Kian

Kian has been trying hard with his writing, using his phonic to write words more independently and his handwriting is beautiful. 


Beech: Amaya for her brilliant work in Literacy. Amaya wrote a persuasive piece of writing on why she thought the Snail should go on an adventure with the Whale in The Snail and the Whale. Well done Amaya! 


 Walnut: Vanessa

For taking her time to write carefully, ensuring she uses her conjunctions and adjectives. Fabulous writing Vanessa!

These are the key skills that our children will need to learn effectively in class and to be successful later in life.

These children have shown interdependence, collaborated effectively, listened to others, displayed empathy and have imitated effective  ideas and methods from others. 




Reflectiveness 

These pupils have planned carefully, revised ideas, identified key features and can talk about their learning. 

Chloe 

Chloe has stared to be more vocal when talking about her learning during Maths. 

Issam

For trying super hard with his sounding out, blending and writing. Issam will think carefully and make little corrections when he thinks he has made a mistake. Well done Issam!







Resilience

These children have demonstrated perseverance, managed distractions, noticed patterns and been absorbed in their tasks. 



Yahya has been working hard to apply his sounds to his writing. Well done Yahya! 


Resourcefulness   

These pupils have been curious about learning, made links between ideas, shown imagination, reasoned methodically and capitalised on resources.
