Literacy
This term, we are exploring The
Chocolate Planet, a delightful story
set in a faraway galaxy where two
aliens embark on a fun-filled adventure!
The children have absolutely loved
diving into the story and have shown
great excitement as the plot unfolds.
To bring the story to life, they even
created their own sweet treats to
decorate our working walls—our classroom
now looks good enough to eat!
Maths: Statistics
This week, children interpreted pictograms
involving real life examples. They used
their knowledge of 2, 5 and 10 times
tables. Well done Year 2!
Geography
This week in Geography, pupils explored the
difference between weather and climate.
They learned to distinguish between short-term
atmospheric conditions (weather) and long-term
patterns over time (climate). Pupils also studied
the various climate types found around the world
and successfully identified and matched each
climate to its correct definition.
