Well done to Tayla in Apricot Class, for working hard this week in maths to learn the names of 3D shapes. Tayla independently completed a pattern using 3D shapes and could talk about their properties. Keep up the good work Tayla!

Well done to Archie in Walnut Class, for modelling play in the outdoor area and sharing his ideas with other children to create a drive through restaurant. Archie encouraged the children to create the ‘secret ingredient’ that makes the food taste good and created an order system.

Well done to Peace in Beech Class for his excellent start to Broadford. Peace has created some amazing models of aircrafts out of lego and has been learning how to code a Beebot. He has been inspiring his friends to do the same.

Well done to Louis in Apricot Class, for using his imagination to write an interesting letter in character as Pattan. Louis applied his sounds and formed his letters beautifully. Well done!

Well done to Harry in Walnut Class, for using his sounds to write a letter to Kanni suggesting they build a boat with the pumpkin to save the animals from the storm. A great idea Harry, well done!

Well done to Chidera in Beech Class who has been working incredibly hard in RWI learning his set 1 sounds. He has been applying them to his writing! Great work!

Well done to Ibukun in Apricot Class, for showing resilience in both Maths and Geography. You kept trying even when it got tricky. Great work!

Well done to Archie in Walnut Class for his Resourcefulness when counting down from 10 using his fingers while the countdown music is playing at tidy up time. Archie watches the numbers on the screen carefully showing concentration. Well done Archie!

Well done everyone,

Many thanks

The Year One Team.
