Year1 Awards

 

  

We have had another great week and there has been so much to celebrate in Year 1! 

These children have worked extremely hard and have been rewarded for all of their hard work and efforts.

E for Excellence


Walnut:Hussain

Hussain  always shows a positive attitude towards his learning and gives his best in every lesson. Well Done!



Apricot:Kezia 

Kezia has been showing fantastic behavior inside and outside the classroom. Kezia has also been working hard on her maths, making doubles and sharing. Good Job!











Beech:

Robyn, in recognition of your excellent attitude in the math sessions. You always  try your best in the math sessions and you  have worked super hard  this week solving doubling and sharing word problems. Excellent work Robyn



 

  Star Writers 

 

Walnut:Adalind

Adalind wrote lovely sentences to describe the different stages of recycling and used her sounds to write tricky words. Well done!

 

 

 


Apricot: Edward 

Edward has been working hard on his  phonics and handwriting this week. Edwards letter formation has become a lot clearer as he continues to practice. Amazing!

 

 

 

 


 

Beech:

Rio, You have worked incredibly hard to write your recycling instructions text, inspired by our story ‘ 10 things I can do to help my world’. Well done Rio 




 

 


 

Learning Power Awards

These are the key skills that our children will need to learn effectively in class and to be successful later in life.

These children have shown interdependence, collaborated effectively, listened to others, displayed empathy and have imitated effective  ideas and methods from others.

Lucas and Denis, you have both worked incredibly hard learning your set 2 and set 3 sounds together as partners and supporting each other. Fantastic work Lucas and Denis.

These pupils have planned carefully, revised ideas, identified key features and can talk about their learning.

These children have demonstrated perseverance, managed distractions, noticed patterns and been absorbed in their tasks. 

 

This has been awarded to :Isabella, Kenija

Kesnija has earned this award for working very hard to solve her maths problems. She did not give up even when she found the work tricky. Great effort!

 

 

 

 

  

 

 

 

 

 


Resourcefulness   

These pupils have been curious about learning, made links between ideas, shown imagination, reasoned methodically and capitalised on resources.

This has been awarded to: Bella- Rose , Ryan & Sofia

Bella- Rose has been trying her best in her lessons this week. She has also taken the time to help the other children in her class. Brilliant!
