Year 2 Forest School
A busy morning for mulberry class as they tried to light their own mini fires. They began gaining confidence getting a spark using the fire steel and then moved on to try to transfer that spark onto some cotton wool. It’s always a challenge as some find it easier than others but there was lots of determination and resilience on show. To reflect on our session the children made ground pictures of their faces to show how they were feeling, we had a mixture of happy faces, excited faces and some sad faces. I’m pleased to say the sad face was because they didn’t want forest school to end. Next week will be the final session for mulberry class.
