Year 2 Follow Instructions
This week in Year 2, the children have launched an exciting new writing unit in Literacy all about instructions!
To kick off the topic, they followed a set of instructions to make their very own paper aeroplanes. It was wonderful to see them show such resilience as they folded, adjusted and tried again to get their creations just right. Many also demonstrated great resourcefulness, helping each other work out tricky steps and sharing ideas to improve their designs.
The activity sparked lots of discussion about what makes good instructions, and the children are now looking forward to writing some of their own!
