Year One Team for September 2020

Hi Reception, 

It is that exciting point in the year where you get to find out who your new teacher is. Usually it would be done face-to-face but don't worry, we have organised lots of online activities so you all get to know your new teacher.

As in previous years, we have mixed the classes. We do this most years and I know it causes some parents anxiety but we promise you the children are very resilient and we have never had any issues.

Miss Chappel - Beech Class List

"Hi everyone! I am the Year One Leader and also your teacher, Miss Chappel. I am so excited to meet you all properly! I have been in Year One for lots of years and I think it is the best year! I can't wait for you all to join us!

"This is our Classroom in the 'new build'. It might look a bit bare at the moment as it is being used for a Year One bubble, but I am talking to your Reception teachers about all your favourite things so we can have them in Year One too."

Miss Tuffley - Apricot Class List

"Hi everyone! I am super excited to meet you all and can't wait to welcome you to Year 1. It is a great year and we're going to have so much fun together. See you soon!"

"We are going to be in Apricot Class. It looks a bit empty at the moment as Year One are using it as a bubble, but I will be coming in over the summer to put my stamp on it so it is ready for us to start in September!"

Miss Ahmed - Walnut Class List

"Hi everyone! I am so excited to meet you all next year. I have already started planning some exciting learning for us. All that's missing is you!"
