Year One- The aliens are coming!
This week, Year One were greeted by a strange sight....
It looked like a spaceship had crash landed into our outdoor area!
The children noticed some peculiar shaped footprints leading across the playground...
They followed the footprints and we found some clues!
The children think they have discover:
1. a jar of star dust
2. an alien space helmet
3. parts of the engine which have fallen off and mad the spaceship crash land
The children decided that they were going to solve the mystery of the spaceship! They made posters to tell everybody about their sightings and wrote letters informing Mrs Nicholls that there was an alien on the loose. The children also created some fantastic collages of their own aliens in the art area.
'The aliens tried to land on the roof of the school but crashed!' Max
'We need to let everyone know that there might be aliens in the school! We think they might be friendly.' Ruby
'I keep finding clues everywhere! I'm going to write a letter to the alien telling him its ok to visit us.'Charlie
