Over the last few weeks in Year 2, we have been running a conker competition! Conkers are an excellent natural resource which we love to use around school in games, exploration and natural art tasks.
The children enthusiastically brought in bags of conkers and were eager to be the winning class- they loved seeing our boxes fill up and the children did fantastically, collecting THOUSANDS of conkers- WELL DONE TO ALL!!!
Here are our final winners from each class:
Riley, Charlie, Ethan, Victoria, Amelie, Lucas
The overall winning class was Cherry! They collected over 2000 conkers!
