Data Handling Outside

We wanted to find out what type of materials we could find in our outside area. What was the most common?
We decided to look for leaves, sticks, stones, rubbish and feathers.
Working with a partner we collected as many of these materials as we could from around the outside area and on the field. As we collected them we sorted them onto the correct square on our grid or chart.
Finally we counted how many of each item we had found and recorded the number in the correct square.
We found out that the most common were sticks and and stones, whilst the least common was feathers.
