Literacy

This week, we started our unit on The Adventures of

Egg Box Dragon. The children drew their own

impressions of Egg Box Dragon and wrote a

character description of Egg Box Dragon packed

full with amazing adjectives to bring their character

to life. You will find further help below.

Maths

This week pupils focused on solving addition problems. They used their number bonds to add two 1 digit numbers together to make 10 before moving on to adding 3 one digit numbers together.

   

Science 

This term we are exploring materials. We will be learning

the properties of a variety of everyday materials.

To support our learning each class will have access to

a science station. This will allow the children to touch

and explore the materials. 

                                                                  

       

Forest School

Today Mulberry class were excited to be back at
forest school. We played games, reminded
ourselves of how to stay safe and made
Elder fireworks. Then the children enjoyed playing
with their fireworks as they threw them up in the air.
Well done to those who remembered their wellies
and waterproofs today. If you forgot them please
bring them next week, we don’t want to get
caught out by the weather.
