Year 1 Awards!!

 

 

These children have worked extremely hard and have been rewarded for all of their hard work and efforts.

E for Excellence


Apricot: Mir Hamin 

Mir Hamin is trying his best in every lesson. He has also been contributing in class discussions. 



Beech: Medhansh

For his fantastic work in Literacy this week. He has used exciting adjectives to describe his planet and a variety of conjunctions to join two simple sentences together. 



Walnut: Madison 

For following the three Broadford jobs as best as she can. Madison is always considerate of her peers and teachers. Fabulous keep it up!




  Star Writers 

Apricot: Nourah 

Nourah has been working hard on her handwriting. She has been keeping her letters on the line and also remembers her full stops. 



Beech: Violet

For trying really hard to form her letters and numbers correctly and using resources in the classroom to check they’re correct. 




Walnut: Ellie

For trying super hard to sound out and blend using special friends in her literacy. Fantastic, keep it up Ellie!






Learning Power Awards

These are the key skills that our children will need to learn effectively in class and to be successful later in life. 


Reciprocity

These children have shown interdependence, collaborated effectively, listened to others, displayed empathy and have imitated effective  ideas and methods from others. 


Surabhi and Sadhana for working together using junk modelling to build a house for their aliens. 





Reflectiveness 

These pupils have planned carefully, revised ideas, identified key features and can talk about their learning.

Resilience

These children have demonstrated perseverance, managed distractions, noticed patterns and been absorbed in their tasks. 



This has been awarded to: Emir

Emir has demonstrated resilience with his handwriting. He is fixing his mistakes independently and proofreading his writing. 




Resourcefulness : Ridwan

For making good use of the construction area by making some exciting creations and talking about them with his peers and teachers. Great resourcefulness Ridwan!

Ella Rae has a positive attitude in school and has been working super hard in her maths.
