Year one has had a term filled with exciting learning opportunities within the provision. All children have had the opportunity to engage in activities that enhance and consolidate many different skills throughout the day. Continuous provision helps to solidify their learning, promote prior knowledge, and encourage active and independent learners. As well as building their subject knowledge, the provision helps to promote children's social and emotional skills, which prepares them for life outside of the classroom!
The provision is carefully planned by the class teachers and offers various levels of challenge and critical thinking. It is well known that Continuous Provision is the second teacher in the classroom!
