Year 1: What We Are Learning

Year 1 have been working really hard this week. 

 In Literacy this week the focus was to include capital letters and full stops in their writing.

The children enjoyed learning the words to the song-

The children have also been working hard in Read, Write, Inc this week.

All children should of recieved their reading book and reading record for them to record all the books they have been reading.

In Maths this week the focus was to sort objects based on the colour or size.

Next week in Literacy the children will be learning about adjectives-

Next week in Maths the focus will be counting objects and writing numbers as words.
