Year 1 Awards

 

 

These children have worked extremely hard and have been rewarded for all of their hard work and efforts.

E for Excellence


Apricot: Kian

Kian has a positive attitude and has been working hard in Math. Kian worked hard on counting between 50-100 and counting in groups of 10. Well Done Kian!






Beech: Amaya

her hard work in Maths this week. Amaya worked well with her partner and took turns to roll a dice and move her counter on the grid. She was able to count from 50 to 100. Well done!  



Walnut: Albie

For his consistent effort to try his best in every subject. Albie is using his sound mat independently and writing using his neatest handwriting. Fantastic!




Star Writers 

Apricot: Jack

Jack has been trying his best when writing.He has been using his Phonics and using his spelling of ‘red’ words to complete his Literacy more independently. 





Beech: Jessica

Jessica worked hard to write a persuasive letter. She remembered all of her sentence rules and checked her letter for mistakes.  



 Walnut: Jayden

For becoming more independent during literacy and attempting to write using the resources around him. Fabulous effort Jayden!




 Reciprocity

These children have shown interdependence, collaborated effectively, listened to others, displayed empathy and have imitated effective  ideas and methods from others. 


Aditi:worked well with others with her partner to play the Maths game. She took turns to roll the dice and was able to count from 50 to 100. 




Reflectiveness 

These pupils have planned carefully, revised ideas, identified key features and can talk about their learning. 


Layla- For writing a lovely description of what she did during the half term with no support, using her knowledge of the sounds she knows. Excellent work Layla!



 


Resilience

These children have demonstrated perseverance, managed distractions, noticed patterns and been absorbed in their tasks. 


Natalia Elena 

Natalia has shown patience and perseverance when completing her Math. She is going back to check her work to find the correct answer. 







Resourcefulness   

These pupils have been curious about learning, made links between ideas, shown imagination, reasoned methodically and capitalised on resources.
