Chocolate Planet
This week, we continued our work on chocolate planet.
We learnt the meaning of four different words.
These were menacing, aroma,
scrumptious and cowered. We had fun acting these words out!
We also learnt about conjunctions and included them
in sentences about Gala and Frag.
Maths
This week, the children learnt to draw and interpret a
range of pictograms. They looked at pictograms
where each symbol in the pictogram
represents one item. Next, they looked at pictograms
where the symbols represent 2,5 and 10 items.
Brilliant effort!
Geography
This week in geography pupils learnt about the different
types of climates around the world and they were able
to recognise a country's climate using a map.
Pupils first identified the country on a map then
used the position of that country on that map to
then locate it’s climate on the Climate Zone Map.
