Year One Awards - 22.03.2024

 These children have worked extremely hard and have been rewarded for all of their hard work and efforts.

E for Excellence

Apricot: Damain 

For his fantastic attitude towards learning. Damain works hard in every lesson, and always tries his best. 





Beech: Levi

Levi worked hard in Maths. He filled in the missing numbers on the number line and worked hard to estimate. Well done Levi! 




Walnut: Isabella

For her positive attitude towards learning, she explains her answers using key vocabulary and ensures her work makes sense. Great work Isabella!




  Star Writers 

Apricot: Natalia

For working extremely hard in Literacy this week, to produce a fantastic Newspaper report.





Beech: Mujtaba

Mujtaba worked hard to write a newspaper article. Well done Mujtaba! 






 Walnut: Jason

For writing more carefully, ensuring to keep his handwriting neat and tidy. Jason has been trying hard to proofread his work to make sure it makes sense. Well done!




Resourcefulness   

These pupils have been curious about learning, made links between ideas, shown imagination, reasoned methodically and capitalised on resources. 


Freddie

For being creative in his play with his friends. Freddie has been creating lots of interesting games, explaining the roles of the characters and providing some props. Well done!




Sataish


Sataish used lots of imagination to create lots of different characters out of playdough. Well done Sataish! 



Resilience

These children have demonstrated perseverance, managed distractions, noticed patterns and been absorbed in their tasks.

For working in hard in Maths this week to find one more and one less of numbers between 20-50
