Maths Challenge
This half term every child will receive a Maths Challenge tracker.
Each week on Monday a maths challenge will be posted on the blog/Facebook.
Your child will have one week to complete the maths challenge to the best of their ability.
When your child has completed the maths challenge, they should return the piece of work to their class teacher, who will sign and date their tracker.
6 challenges - Bronze certificate
12 challenges -Silver certificate
18 challenges - Gold certificate and award
We have two types of challenges:
1. A Fermi maths challenge that can involve: estimation, rounding, analytical thinking, creative thinking and communication.
2. A Traditional maths challenge that will involve problem solving and reasoning.
We can't wait to see all of those magnificent mathematical minds hard at work!
