Science
We have been using a classification key to identify and name a variety of common UK mammals. A key is a set of questions about the characteristics of living things.
We used the key to identify a living thing and decide which group it belonged to by answering the questions.
Forest School
It was lovely to introduce another class of Year 1’s to forest school this morning. Beech Class played games, played with woodland toy creatures and bugs, hunted for nature treasures and made treasure sticks. They found woodland creatures that begin with the same letter as their name to make their forest school necklaces. They had newts, slugs, dormice and many more. A great morning together Year 1.
Beech Class Forest School & PE on Tuesdays
