The children have been challenging themselves in the class construction areas recently. They have been creating castles like the one's at the top of our latest story 'Jack and the Baked Beanstalk'. They have labelled these and added all kinds of interesting features like an elephant petting zoo! They were able to show good collaboration skills and labelled their models. The narrow Kapla blocks have enabled the children to naturally think logically and have supported the children to develop their spacial and mathematical awareness.
