Year 1- Week 3 Celebration Certificates

Well done to Jefflyn for working so hard with her learning, especially her writing. Jeffly has been working very hard in RWI and has been applying her sounds to her writing. Keep up the hard work Jefflyn, you are doing so well!




Well done to Kemar, for his brilliant work on arrays in Maths this week. Kemar wass able to show the array using cubes, draw a picture of the arrays and then write the corresponding number sentence. Keep up the fantastic work Kemar! Well done.



Well done to Blake is a positive role model in Walnut class. He is hard working, thoughtful and polite to everyone in Year 1. Blake gives 100% in every subject and he always take pride in his work. Well done Blake.





Well done to Zayd for his brilliant writing. Zayd has been working super hard to become an independent writer. I have not only been very pleased to see how hard Zayd has been working and his level of concentration but I’ve been impressed to see Zayd using the sound mat to help him with his spellings before asking for help. Keep up the good work.


Well done to Umar consistently works hard with all his writing tasks and in his RWI lessons. Umar is using set 1 sounds in his writing and has made great improvements with his letter formation and remembering finger spaces. Keep up the good work Umar. 



Well done to Jack, for his positive attitude and hard work in Literacy this week. Jack has been working on holding a sentence and using his sounds to write his sentence. His handwriting has also been very neat, great work Jack!




Well done to Elsie for always working hard in all her subjects. Elsie keeps trying her best, even if she finds the task tricky. Well done Elsie. 



Well done to Dhriti, Hope and Ali, for their work on our Magnificent Maths table. The all chose to showcase different skills in maths that they have been doing by using the objects and drawing pictures. Well done!



Happy teacher- Harry for showing kindness to a child who was unhappy this week. Harry found something that he knew the child would like and it helped calm the child and settle them in class. Thank you Harry for being a kind friend. 




Well done to Abdulahad, for his positive attitude towards learning and enthusiasm in all lessons. Well done!
