Literacy
This week in Literacy focused on retelling Jack and the Baked Beanstalk. In groups, they did role-play to help them understand the sequence of the story. Then, they planned their story sequence before writing them out using the correct past and present tense and conjunctions.
Maths
This week we continued our work about fractions. We looked at equal and unequal parts and how to spot them. We also learnt about finding halves and quarters. We used mathematical thinking to answer challenging questions!
RE
This term in RE, pupils looked at different ways religious festivals and non religious celebrations are celebrated around the world. They focused on understanding and labelling the differences between the two.
