Year One Science Walk

The children in Year One selected four different trees around the School to observe and track the changes across the four seasons. This is a wonderful opportunity for outdoor learning and allows the children to experience the changes for themselves. We discussed the things the children know about Autumn and spent time looking at the trees and describing what the children could see. 

 

        

At the end of the term the children in Year One will write their own reports to show the changes they observed during the Autumn term.
