This week, Year 2 enjoyed a very special visit to the church as part of their learning. The children were excited to have the opportunity to explore the church building and learn more about its importance in the local community.
During our visit, we were kindly given a personal tour by Victor, who shared lots of interesting information with us. He showed the children around the church and explained the purpose of different areas and features inside the building. The children were fascinated to see these up close and to hear more about how the church is used.
One of the most valuable parts of the visit was the chance for the children to ask questions. Victor took the time to answer them carefully, helping the children to deepen their understanding and satisfy their curiosity. They asked thoughtful questions and showed great enthusiasm throughout the tour.
The visit gave the children a wonderful opportunity to bring their classroom learning to life through first-hand experience. They were respectful, engaged and eager to learn, and they represented the school beautifully.
