Pine Class had their final forest school for Year 2 this morning and enjoyed toasting marshmallows over the fire. Then they put them inside a brioche bun to enjoy. There was hot chocolate or squash to drink and the children all helped to put the fire out together. I introduced the children the Hapa zome, the Japanese art form where you bash natural items like grass or petals to get the dye out of them. We made butterflies, hair bows and bow ties.
